The Lake Macquarie One Act Play Festival is a vibrant theatre competition featuring original short plays from local and national playwrights. The performances explore diverse themes, from artificial intelligence to personal reinvention, offering a mix of laughter, tears, and thought-provoking moments. With a $1,900 prize pool, awards are given for Outstanding Play Performance, Outstanding Actor, and Youth Actor Encouragement.
