AROUND LAKE MACQUARIE
Lake Macquarie’s Museum of Art and Culture Sunday Sessions kicked off last month to much success. The second instalment is being held Sunday 11 April, and this is your chance to have a drink, make some art and enjoy live local music right on the lake. Get your tickets via mac.lakemac.au for $20 per person.
Then later in the month, keep the kids entertained with a bumper program of school holiday events from Lake Macquarie City Council, including arts and crafts, animal appreciation and everything in between. There are 15 activities planned, most of which are free or low-cost with various sessions available for booking.
Finally, finish the holidays off with fishing fun for the whole family at the Let’s Fish Festival over 16–18 April. Browse the Festival Expo or indulge in a gourmet seafood long lunch.
