NOW - SUNDAY 25 JUNE
This new display showcases the world of Australia's birdlife through an interactive storytelling cube. It will bring to life the iconic illustrations of John and Elizabeth Gould with First Nations storytelling and knowledge. Follow the journey of English ornithologist John and his wife Elizabeth as they travelled across New South Wales in the 1800s on one of the most significant birding expeditions in history. The expedition has helped inform the current knowledge and conservation of birds. The astonishing record of observation and hard work comes to life in this display that explores the significance of birds and their role in connecting to the country.
