Spring Into Style With Bling and Bloom at the Levee
This spring, The Levee Central Maitland is blossoming with the return of the much loved Bling and Bloom mini market, showcasing a vibrant mix of fashion and floral artistry on Saturday 14 September.
From 10.00am to 2.00pm, attendees can explore a curated selection of stalls featuring local makers, enjoy live music and participate in a variety of free, family friendly workshops.
David Graham, The Levee Public Programs Officer at Maitland City Council, says, ‘Bling and Bloom has something for everyone, especially those with a creative spirit.
'We’re excited to offer a range of activities and stalls where shoppers can explore vibrant floral themed art, handmade accessories and jewellery, charming crocheted creations and fresh local produce as well as flower stalls.
Families are encouraged to bring their children and join in the fun with free workshops, including sensory play with Nature and Nurture Events, where kids can create magical nature wands and wreaths, and paper jewellery crafting with Aksara Harriram.
After enjoying the festivities, visitors can explore the local cafes and shops in The Levee Shared Zone.
'Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, enjoying a bite from one of the local cafés, or simply soaking in the lively atmosphere, The Levee is the perfect place to celebrate the arrival of spring,' Mr Graham adds.
