Get ready to rock to the iconic sounds of the eighties with the legendary Pseudo Echo. Right off the back of their massive national theatre tour, the band will now bring their show, featuring epic lighting and visuals, to King St, Newcastle, on Friday, 10 May, as part of their 2024 MACHINE Tour.
Best known for their international #1 smash hit Funky Town, Pseudo Echo revolutionised the music landscape with their Avant-garde style and hits like Listening, A Beat for You, Don’t Go, Living in a Dream and Lovean Adventure.
Pseudo Echo exploded onto the charts after their groundbreaking appearance on Countdown, becoming the first unsigned band on the show. They soon signed with EMI, earning 15 Gold/Platinum records and multiple awards, including Australia's Most Popular Band and twelve ARIA nominations. The band toured worldwide, appearing on Top of the Pops, Dick Clarke Show, and more. In 2024, they celebrate the 40th anniversary of Listening with a new remix from the upcoming MACHINE album.
