Next Friday Marks the Comfiest Day of the Year

The Pyjama Foundation’s biggest fundraiser and comfiest day of the year is just around the corner and the Foundation is urging Australian’s to support little kids with big dreams by wearing their PJ's and making a donation.
All funds raised this National Pyjama Day will go directly towards supporting the Foundation to recruit, screen and train committed volunteers to make an incredible difference in the lives of
children in care.
July 19 marks the official date for National Pyjama Day 2024. A day when Australians are encouraged to wear their favourite pair of PJ's and raise vital funds and awareness.
The Pyjama Foundation Founder and CEO Bronwyn Sheehan OAM said the statistics surrounding children in care are heart breaking and she knows with the support of Australians this National Pyjama Day, more vulnerable children can be reached.
"We know that 92% of children in care are below the average reading level by age 7. Low levels of literacy is an indicator associated with future disadvantage and a higher rate of homelessness," she said.
“With the support of those in our community, The Pyjama Foundation can continue to support kids in care.
“This year, National Pyjama Day falls on July 19, however you can rock your best PJs and get involved anytime in July, August or September to make a difference.”
Every dollar raised through National Pyjama Day goes directly towards supporting the Foundation to recruit, screen and train committed volunteers to make an incredible difference in the lives of children in care.
All registrants receive a free host kit for their fundraising event which includes stickers, bunting, posters, balloons and much more to support a successful event.
