Newcastle Show 2025 Will Light the Sky with a Spectacular Drone Show
The Newcastle Show, one of the region’s most beloved traditions, is set to deliver a true spectacle in March next year, with a breathtaking drone light show that will illuminate the sky.
The theme for the 2025 Newcastle Show is “Unleashing Extraordinary,” and producers are preparing a program to awe and inspire, bringing a spirit of innovation and creativity to the event that has been delighting generations since 1902.
Traditionally known for its agricultural and industrial exhibitions, the Newcastle Show will continue to evolve, to reflect modern lifestyles and experiences. The drone show will serve as a metaphor for this transformation, symbolising the bridging of Newcastle's proud past with its bright future.
To deliver this experience, Newcastle Show is collaborating with Drone Sky Shows; an organisation that has been delivering captivating visual experiences right across Australia.
This week, special guests were given the opportunity to see a demonstration of what’s in store, and came away excited for the full experience next year.
Drew Ferguson-Tait, Manager of the Newcastle Show 2025, shared his excitement about the new innovative direction saying, “We want to create something truly extraordinary for our community. The drone show will be a first for the Newcastle Show (and Newcastle) and is just one of the new attractions that we’ll be introducing to the program. We’ll be presenting some of the latest technology alongside the tradition that the Show is known for. It’s about creating memories that last a lifetime.”
