It's a Wild Life in the Hunter Valley!

If you're on the hunt for an adventurous family day out with close-up interactive animal action, we've discovered just the place!

Perhaps the Hunter Valley's best-kept secret, Hunter Valley Wildlife Park boasts some of the tallest and most fierce exotic African animal experiences. You can see white lions, cheetahs, giraffes and zebras, as well as some social native Aussie beauties too, like koalas, dingoes, echidnas, and a plethora of Australian birds.

From the outset, Hunter Valley Wildlife Park has a totally different feel from other animal attractions. It's an intimate setting that lends itself to the immersive experience of getting up close to their much-loved family of animals through a myriad of walk-throughs and interactive enclosures, yet it boasts an abundance of natural, open space to meander through.

Hunter Valley Wildlife Park is home to a rich and diverse collection of wildlife, offering up-close encounters with meerkats, squirrel monkeys and lemurs for older children and adults. In addition, children will delight in handfeeding kangaroos, farmyard animals, ostriches, and camels.

Lion encounters are also available to allow visitors to feed the king of the jungle (bookings essential). A new giraffe feeding encounter is available daily at 10am for the whole family (minimum age ten+ with parental guidance).

There's a broad selection of exotic primates at the park, from moustached emperor tamarins, black and white ruffed lemurs, and ring-tailed lemurs to squirrel monkeys and spider monkeys. Look out for the stunning snow leopard, maned wolves and capybaras and a fascinating display of reptiles (including the American alligators that prowl the central dam).

There are aviaries dotted throughout the park creating a symphony of natural bird sounds and a vibrant display of colour, from the sweet, spotted bowerbirds to the striking blue and gold macaw. The friendly rainbow lorikeets put on an unbelievable show in their walk-through enclosure, perching themselves on your arms and shoulders to claim their stake

of the food.

You'll find Hunter Valley Wildlife Park at 138 Lomas Lane, Nulkaba or online at www.huntervalleywildlifepark.com.au
