Hunter’s Newest town to release 125 lots {and expects it to sell out in one day!}
The demand for house and land skyrocketed second half of 2020. We witnessed a renewed interest from city dwellers seeking bigger and more lifestyle lead properties in regional locations; a trend predicted to continue for some time.
Regional market active listings are now the lowest they have been since 2016, and we are seeing strong buyer interests resulting in stock shortages.
The data indicates that land is also in hot demand, with the most recent HIA-CoreLogic Residential Land Report showing demand for land in the Hunter Valley jumping a whopping 88.8% in the September 2020 quarter, compared to June 2020.
The Hunter’s newest town, Huntlee, have witnessed first-hand this increase in request for land, with new releases selling out in record time.
“We released 86 lots in February on a Wednesday morning, and by Friday lunchtime, it was all but sold out,” said Robert Crane, Huntlee’s Sales Director.
“The interest for land we are witnessing at Huntlee is something I haven’t seen in the area before.”
The demand is so strong that Huntlee is holding a Mega Land Release and event on Saturday, 19 June, releasing 125 lots across three stages - all of which they believe will sell out on the day.
“We have 125 lots across three stages being released at 10am, and it’s to be sold on a first-in, first-served basis, so people do have to be on-site to purchase their lots on the day”, explained Robert.
“Our builders will be on site with house and land packages available as well.”
In celebration of the event, Huntlee will be hosting activities for the kids along with food trucks for the adults. Their display village will also be open with 18 new homes to walk through.
