Hunter Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo

The Lake Macquarie & Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network is hosting the first Hunter Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo in Newcastle on Saturday 7th September.
The purpose of the Expo is to connect the community with essential mental health and wellbeing resources.
The Hunter Mental Health Expo will bring together a diverse range of community organisations and businesses to promote services for individuals seeking support. By providing a free and accessible event, the expo strives to:
Increase awareness of available mental health services and support options.
Reduce stigma associated with mental health issues by fostering open dialogue.
Enhance access to care by connecting individuals with appropriate providers.
Promote overall wellbeing through a focus on both physical and mental health.
By showcasing a variety of over 90 services including mental health professionals, youth services, LGBTIQA+ organisations, fitness experts, nutritionists, art therapists and disability services, the expo offers a holistic approach to mental wellbeing.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to see some of the great services the Hunter has, to support you and your loved ones on their health and wellness journey. We are so pleased to be able to bring people together who all share a common goal to help others and allow them to reach their goals”, said Bradley Dunn, CEO Lake Macquarie and Suicide Prevention Network.
