The biggest show on the Rural Scene calendar is the Hunter Valley Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat Show held in May each year at the Maitland Showground. With over 300 sites and going into its 24th year, this is a fantastic event for both exhibitors and visitors alike.
Some of our best memories are made on holidays, and there’s no better way to create these memories than time out on a caravan and camping adventure. The Hunter Valley Outdoor Show has everything you need to start creating these precious memories. Tents, camper trailers, campervans, caravans and motor homes, plus all the accessories – you’ll find it all at the Maitland Showground on Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May.

The accessory ranges available today make caravanning and camping comfortable, convenient and hassle-free.
Free entertainment is one of the many highlights of the Outdoor Show. Get a real fish’s eye view with the Australian Travelling Fishing Show’s giant mobile fish tank. “Cookie” will be demonstrating the many different types of fishing lures on the market, and you’ll get to see an underwater view of how the fish react to them.
The Flair Action Bike Riders will be thrilling crowds with a bike show that always delivers a “wheelie” good time. These daredevil riders will really get the pulse rate pumping with their adrenaline-fuelled stunts.
You can also enjoy a bumpy ride on the purpose-built 4 Wheel Drive track, courtesy of the Gold Eagle 4WD Club.
The Hunter Valley Outdoor Show will have a great variety of food available and plenty of seating throughout the venue to sit and relax.
