Education and Support for the Community is Vital

intouch Magazine

In recent years, Creightons Funeral Service has established themselves firmly in the Hunter region, now with three offices in Cessnock, Kurri Kurri and East Maitland. With over 180 years in the Funeral Service industry, Creightons' commitment to the community in supporting and educating is second to none, and in the Hunter is no exception.

“We feel it is vital to work with our communities by providing free Grief & Loss Seminars locally, educating and supporting people including nurses, doctors and counsellors about how to support others and deal with the challenging times in life,” said Lyn Parkes – Community Liaison Manager of Creightons Funeral Service.

“We work in conjunction with Feel the Magic, bringing in speakers and just taking time to sit with anyone who needs someone to listen. We have strong connections through sponsoring community groups, schools, and sporting groups, giving us the ability to stay connected with our Hunter families directly. This gives their members confidence of already knowing us, so when they need to talk, we are here to help when they need it most.”

We also have the beautiful combination of caring for and maintaining the world class cemeteries and memorial gardens of Palmdale, Greenway and Western District, all of whom work under the same ownership and offer seamless services for families. Joining the Creightons and Stevens Group family is St. Patricks of Nulkaba, the iconic chapel located on Wine Country Drive, giving locals confidence in utilising Creightons to look after their loved ones, with one connection for all of their service requirements.

A Creightons Pre-Paid Funeral Plan can help ensure you relieve family and loved ones of the responsibility of having to plan and finance arrangements at a time when their grief will be burden enough. There are many advantages in planning with a Pre-Paid Funeral Plan, some include locking in the price, documenting your wishes, and peace of mind you give your NOK/Executor. Ask Us How.
