Dazzling Display Delights Kids {Big & Small}
The Southern Hemisphere's largest lights display, Christmas Lights Spectacular, is back this year with a dazzling display of over 3 million lights. The on-switch has been flicked and will run through to Australia Day (26 January 2023).
The mesmerising display encompasses 5 of the 14 hectares of breathtaking gardens. With brand-new immersive features that the entire family can enjoy, Hunter Valley Gardens will bring your favourite Christmas delights to life, making it the perfect destination for the whole family.
This year, Christmas Lights Spectacular will welcome several new additions, including a giant illuminated Santa, a 14m tall Christmas Tree, brand new LED 12 Days of Christmas display, to name just a few. In addition, photos with Santa will be available until Christmas Eve, and a sparkling fireworks display will light up the sky on New Year's Eve at 9pm.
The kids will be able to post a letter to Santa and enjoy Kid's Carols every Saturday and Sunday in December until Christmas Eve.
Hunter Valley Gardens' famous rides will be available every Dazzling Display Delights Kids {Big & Small} night of the event and include a spectacular 35-metre-long super-slide for the bold and daring, accompanied by an incredible ferris wheel for those who want to relax and take in the view. Swing chairs, a traditional Venetian carousel and spinning teacups will make it an unmissable event.
Visitors can explore the world by wandering past some of the world's most famous landmarks, including the Taj Mahal, the leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum and many more. For those indulging in a romantic getaway, the Lover's Tunnel will be the perfect spot to create cherished memories this festive season. Or bring along your friends to explore the vastness of the Gardens while taking great photos.
Guests won't go hungry during the festivities, with a delicious selection of food and beverage stalls, including woodfire pizza, Mexican and a dessert tent. Gates will open at 5:30pm and will close at 10:30pm, with the rides open from 6pm until 10pm.
