A funny animal pic brings joy and amusement to all, right? This was the thinking of wildlife photographer Paul Joynson Hicks, who thought the concept would be perfect for an exhibition. Enter the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards Exhibition! While working as a wildlife photographer, Paul discovered that many images he had captured made him laugh and soon realised the entertaining humour that would capture audiences far and wide. The first Awards were held in 2015 and have since grown to be a global competition aimed at making a meaningful contribution to the world of wildlife. Newcastle Museum’s exhibition will showcase images from a selection of the top 40 photos dating back to 2015. Be sure to check it out before it disappears!
