Celebrate the Festive Season with Santa at Maitland

Join the holiday festivities with the whole family at the Make it Maitland Christmas Movie Night, happening at the Maitland Regional Sportsground on Saturday 16 December.

The main attraction of the evening will be the screening of two cherished Christmas classics on the sportsground’s new big screen, starting with Elf (G) at 5.00pm followed by The Santa Clause (G) at 7.15pm, with the intermission featuring Christmas carols performed by the Maitland Musical Society.

Maitland City Council Coordinator City Events and Activations Adam Franks, says, ‘The event promises an evening filled with holiday cheer and a variety of family friendly activities.

‘Attendees can engage in kids’ crafts and lawn games, catch a glimpse of Santa and the Grinch with their festive car displays, enjoy a bite at the BBQ or food trucks and grab some free popcorn.’

Tickets are free for kids aged 17 and under and $5 for adults. Reserve your ticket now at mait.city/XmasMovieNight.

This initiative is hosted by Maitland City Council and supported by the NSW Government.
