Adina Vineyard & Olive Grove, located in Lovedale Hunter Valley, is a purveyor of some of life’s delicious pleasures: fine wines, olive products, other food accoutrements, and a restful place to stay and relax. Not only do we have some delicious treats available in our cellar door but we are also a wholesaler, supplying our olive products, accoutrements, and oils to restaurants and other retailers beyond the Hunter Valley to Sydney and the Central Coast.
THE OLIVES
Onsite is our olive mill, and employed here is our ‘Olive Guru’ Dirk. Trained as a chef, he is continually looking for new ways to wow your palate. Recently, after some deep thinking, he happened upon the flavoursome marinade of Dried Yellow Lime & Coriander Seeds using the fabulous Wallis Olives. Dirk also tweaked the flavour combinations created by Sue, our previous Olive Guru, of Orange & Thyme and Ligurian Olives.
When satisfied, he brought these up to the office for a taste-test, and yes, these flavours did wow our palates. So, it was decided to enter them into the Hunter Olive Awards and the Australian International Olive Awards. While his marinated olives received awards at the Hunter show, the latter show, held in Canberra, produced spectacular results: Gold Reserve Champion Specialty Olives – Ligurian; Gold Champion Speciality Olives – Orange & Thyme; Gold Champion – ‘Wild’ Olives; and Silver also in the Speciality Olives Class – Lime & Coriander 1st, 2nd, 3rd. In addition to those, the Orange & Thyme Olives were awarded the Best Table Olive of Show (Boutique Volume). YUM!
When commenting, the judges wrote the words: “visually pleasing”, “an interesting and harmonious blend”, “excellent blend of citrus, herb, and olive, creating a beautiful balance of flavours”, and “…great texture, generous and firm flesh.”

THE WINES
Our wines are made by Daniel Binet, whose “creative expressions” are utilised in the making of our whites, reds, and bubbles. A winemaker for some 20-plus years, Dan has a "natural palate for wine, which allows him to create wines with personality, structure, and finesse." Our cellar door is enriched by the flavours Dan brings to us in our wines, in both the aged and the more recent vintages.
All our grapes are grown on our Lovedale property, these include the Hunter Valley signature wine-grapes of Chardonnay and Shiraz, however, the original owners, and the new, planted Pinot Grigio, Tempranillo, Cabernet and Sangiovese. Most of our wines are between two and eight years old. Like us, they get better with age!

THE ACCOMMODATION
Onsite we have three accommodation lodges, all have three bedrooms in each, and all bedrooms have ensuites. These overlook our vines and are separately located. Guests can take advantage of the pool in summer, and in winter, each lodge has air-conditioning and a gas-log fire. We take group bookings for all three.
