Popular Foreign Film Night returns to the Riverlink

This Friday, the near booked out Foreign Film Nights program returns to The Riverlink with its first film ‘Talking About Trees’, from Sudan.

Foreign Film Nights are free open air movie nights at The Riverlink. It makes up part the Spring Going Global theme where The Levee celebrates the cultures of the world and our multi-cultural community.

This year three different films will be showing over separate Friday nights during September, with the first two already booked out.

The Levee Public Programs Officer David Graham says ‘we’re so excited to be able to bring the Foreign Film Nights back to The Levee again this year.

We hope people will enjoy the films while also enjoying some of the great cuisines influenced by cultures from around the available at The Levee.

‘Safety is a priority for us and a COVID Safe Plan is in place for the nights. With only a 30 person capacity at The Riverlink we knew it was going to book out, but to reach capacity so quickly told us that the community were happy to see the return of the event.’

The first Foreign Film Nights event will commence from 6.00pm on Friday 4 September. While booked out, the community is encouraged to enjoy the local global food options available at The Levee.

The final event on Friday 25 September still has limited spots available but you’ll have to be fast to secure a spot.
