The Olive Tree Market is excited to announce the launch our first Virtual Olive Tree Market on May 2nd through The Olive Tree Website, Instagram and Facebook!

Founder Justine Gaudry Said today, "We have launched this brand new initiative to support our creative community through this time (and beyond!), and to provide a dynamic platform for our virtual visitors to experience the Olive Tree Market from the safety of their homes. This is a way for you to support the artists, small businesses, and the creatives you know and love, and to help keep the creative communities heart beating!! It’s more important now than ever."

"If you’ve enjoyed one of our 200+ free events over the last 12 years, the wider community's support will help The Olive Tree Market and our creative community survive the pandemic, so we can continue our mission of providing a platform for the creative economy, through dynamic and inclusive events, and as a gathering place for our local community to come together at an event with an ethos of proving an inclusive social and cultural event event. Our first Virtual event will be a test case with the aim of collaborating with other local entities in the coming months to grow and develop the platform and concept." Ms Gaudry said,

"We want to thank the wider community for any support they can contribute to keeping the creative community alive, during this difficult time. Any purchase, no matter how small, will bring a smile to the face of a local artist, designer or maker! Our community will be providing special promotions, and discounts, for the virtual market day in thanks for community support"

The Olive Tree Market encourages you to put the Virtual Market date in your calendar, RSVP to their Facebook event, where all details will be released on how the virtual platform will work on May 2nd.

Ms Gaudry said that the line-up of the creative collective that will be taking part on May 2nd will be released in the coming week, and that all individual stallholder discounts and and special customer deals will be listed.

The facebook event link is here. The Virtual Olive Tree Market will be held the week before Mother’s Day, so customers will be able to buy a gift for Mother's Day from one of the participating makers, and have it delivered directly to their mum.
