Everyday problems are the canvas for creative inventions, with engineers changing the world through innovative problem solving. The Art of Problem Solving exhibition is showcasing some of UoN's most exciting engineering and computing creations – sensor gloves that teach sign language, a heart rate monitor for cows, a VR game to teach literacy, satellites that map the effects of climate change, a computer game you can control with your mind, and advanced nanomaterials that help with cancer detection. Whatever your interests, this exhibition is sure to open your mind to the endless possibilities of future technologies.

Find this exhibition at Newcastle Museum from December 4 until February 24 2019, open Tuesday to Sunday 10am–5pm. You are welcome to join the opening night on Wednesday 5 December, starting at 5.30pm.
